About us
South County Athletic Association is the proud home of the SoCo Colts tournament softball teams. This travel program is designed to provide development opportunities and competitive tournament play for advanced players in the greater South County area of Northern VA.
We welcome multi-sport and multi-faceted athletes as we believe everyone should have the opportunity to play other sports and participate in a variety of activities. We believe our kids need to be well-rounded individuals while still receiving outstanding coaching, training, and development.
Our goal is to deliver the best experience through a combination of regular season league softball, weekend tournaments, and All Stars as players continue to participate in other sports and activities throughout the year.

We are focused on designing a schedule at a price point that will allow players the option to try out to make a travel tournament team while also playing in our partner organization, South County Little League, for regular and postseason play (14U and below).
Our travel teams can expect to practice one to two times per week with games and/or practice on the weekends. We focus on local tournaments in Northern Virginia.
