2025 South County Boys Youth Lacrosse Spring Season
We are looking for beginners and seasoned players to join our community-based recreation SCAA lacrosse teams. SoCo Colts Lacrosse is a member of the Northern Virginia Youth Lacrosse League (NVYLL). The recreation team partners with the South County High School JV and Varsity programs. Practice takes place on the high school turf fields and games are played at the high school, or around local fields within northern Virginia.
SoCo Lacrosse is open to all boys aged 7-14. We welcome all skill levels from beginners to seasoned players. Our purpose is to build lasting memories within our SoCo community, feed lacrosse players into our high school JV & Varsity lacrosse program and expose SoCo boys to the oldest organized sport in North America.

Our program focuses on lacrosse fundamentals, sportsmanship, and most importantly, having fun!

We want every athlete to have a positive experience, develop personal and team building skills, give lacrosse a try and potentially pursue a path to play high school lacrosse.

Our coaches are volunteers with a passion for the game. They have completed mandatory training through NVYLL, background check certification, concussion training, and US Lacrosse Coach Development training.
Season Length: Begins February 24th – Ends May 17th
Practices: Typically Monday & Wednesday evenings on South County HS turf fields
Games: Saturdays. Home games are at South County High School and away games are against various club teams across Northern Virginia.
8U – Boys ages 7-8
10U – Boys ages 9-10
12U – Boys ages 11-12
14U – Boys ages 13-14
Early Bird Registration: Now to December 31st $125 for 8U, $175 for 10U-14U
Late Registration begins January 1st: $150 for 8U, $200 for 10U-14U
No refunds after the first game (We have field fees, referee fees, insurance costs)
