Spring 2024 Field Hockey-- 7 sessions on Sundays, April 7-May 19
Cost - $150
Official practice times TBA, typically Sunday evenings 5-7pm. Teams practice for 60-75 minutes, play days consist of two or three 20-25 minute games of 7v7 (U8 plays 4v4).
April 7- practice @ South County HS
April 14 - practice @ South County HS (intrasquad Green/White Scrimmage)
April 21 -home vs Ava Magic
April 28- practice @ South County HS
May 5- home vs FPYC
May 12- practice @ South County HS
May 19- @ BRYC/BAC 5-8pm
Equipment: water bottle, hockey stick, mouth guard, shin guards, long socks, cleats/turfs
5 levels of play: k-2 (u8), 3/4 (u10), 5/6 (u12), 7/8 (u14), u16. Each team will carry 10-12 players.
SCAA field hockey program provides playing opportunities for players from Kindergarten to 8th grade. For our newest and youngest players (Kindergarten to 3rd grade), we provide once a week clinics in the fall and spring. The players in 3rd-8th grade can choose to attend a once a week clinic or play in our Rec League. The Rec League includes a once a week practice and one game on the weekend. Our coaches bring a positive player centered approach. Our goal is for all players to enjoy spending time out on the field, being active with their friends, and playing field hockey.
